Would driving my JD landscape tractor without a working clutch hurt anything?

The clutch is wore out and seized. It shifts into 1st without much effort. Can I drive it in 1st gear to grade the driveway without causing further damage? Could I use the front end loader in 1st 1st without hurting anything?

your slowly taking life out of it every time you put it into gear. using the loader while in 1st wont make a difference until you raise or lower the bucket, activating the hydraulic pump.

Your 'beating' on that tranny every time you crash shift it.

If it's old enough that you've seized up a clutch how much has it got left?
