Christians, do you think the pastor and the elders in your church are more spiritual than you are?

Not more spiritual but wiser. They know the Bible very well and can answer questions about God and Jesus just from knowing them as their God/Savior for such a long time.

It depends. There are good leaders and bad leaders. The Lord told us that there would be wolves among the sheep. You have legitimate Holy-Spirit filled, truth-speaking pastors, and then you have apostates and hirelings who don't care for the sheep --- compromising on the Truth is not a large concern for them. God as the Head of the Church calls His flock to know His words. We have to be able to know His Voice. If we hear something which disagrees with His Word, then we have the personal responsibility to be obedient to the Lord and reject false teachings.

My church is home groups, we believers are the church.

The way I look at it, we are ALL equal. He called us all to be

priests and spread His good news.

Nope. The hierarchical style of leadership will have to be abandoned.

They should be, but apostates have been sneaking in.
