How do you do that metal scream for a girl....?
Well...I'm 14 and I'm in a band..we are sorta metal based..though what sucks is that I don't know how. I want to learn...I've tried..though I think I sounded constipated...and plus at times my throat hurts which I know I'm doing it wrong. I know your not suppose to take in deep breathes and its suppose to be from your diaphragm though I don't know what the hell to do...It's confuse X-x and I'm trying though I'm failing miserably...so can anyone help so I won't sound like a constipated girl. :'D
Sorry if my grammar or punctuation is off I'm all to tired to care...

This can actually be very dangerous for your voice if you haven't built it up enough. You can develop vocal nodules if you aren't singing correctly. The technique you want to learn first is "belting." Just keep in mind that it is difficult to do and takes a lot of practice. There is a good book out there that you might want to pick up called The Rock-N-Roll Singer's Survival Manual.
