I start an internship on Monday, I don't know the dress code, how should I dress?
I start an internship with a major political party in communications on Monday. I came to my first interview and my second in a suit, but for orientation on Monday, I don't know what to dress in. I feel like a suit once again is probably safe. However, their website lists the dress code for interns as dress code casual.
So what should I come in?
I dont have anyone's phone number yet. Its one line for outgoing calls only.

You never go wrong with a button down shirt and suit pants. Arrive early and see what others are wearing; if it's full suit and tie bring it and put it on in the car.

If you are guessing, just call them and ask what casual means with regard to dress code. Don't guess. Ask.

If it is the republican party, put on about 200 pounds before you come in. it'll help you look authentic
