Is California going to be America's Greece?

The state is freaking broke and they want to pass Dream Acts.

You don't have to be a rocket scientist to know that California is not going to make it.

It's all gonna come crashing down. Politicians and bankers around the world are just delaying the inevitable. The underlying problem is still there and it wont change until the slate gets wiped clean. Once that happens the whole world will be broke and desperate. And when people get desperate that's when wars break out. Look at the great depression. Better stock up on ammo while you still have money in your pocket.

The government will ramp up the printing presses even more than they are doing now and flood the money supply. We will see the onset of hyperinflation and prices will rise to unheard-of levels and then just keep going. Government will have to introduce the $1,000 bill inot general circulation, then a $10,000 bill, and in a month or so after that a $100,000 bill, all for general circulation. Within six months there will be a $1 million bill, a month later a $10 million bill and by the end of the year $100 million bills will be commonplace. The government will keep up the printing in a desperate bid to stay afloat. At some point a $1 trillion note will be introduced; a Value Meal at McDonalds will cost you an armload of bundles of $100 million bills. Finally the value of the dollar will plunge to zero, at that point mass riots will break out, there will be killings and famine; the military will be called to round up millions of protesters and cart them off to the FEMA concentration camps; the country will descend into anarchy and chaos and ultimately the government will collapse. This is beginning to happen now, and in 5 years the signs of gotterdammerung will be unmistakable and undeniable. The United States will cease to exist as a coherent political entity.

California is the UN experiment in the US. They favor environmental craziness over the good of their own people. They cut off irrigation to the bread basket of the world putting 40,000 people out of work and all the lost trade and income for the whole area to save a minnow that isn't even native to the state.

They spent stimulus money to move plants and build fish ladders. They raised their taxes so high, they drove businesses out of the state. They will not permit the drilling of oil off their shores even though it is bubbling up out of the ground on its own. They pay their government employees way too much money and give them unbelievable benefits. This is the kind of thing the current administration has in mind for the entire country.

No, but they are a perfect example (as is the condition of the country) what Keynesian economics leads to.

We've also got one of the highest per-capita GDPs in the nation, The only reason our debt is high is because we were hit much harder by the housing bust than any other state.
