How is it that Christianity is hated this bad?
I mean, everyone throws out the Crusades and the Inquisition and the Dark Ages, like it's our fault, when we were not even born there or present. How is it our fault that people can become so corrupt that they will use any means necessary to get power, including using the Christianity belief, like the examples at the top? People don't even really like Christians and put them even below people who have flown airplanes into buildings and when I see polls or things like that, sometimes, I just laugh to myself and ask how is it possible that we're hated like or even worse than Muslims. Sure, we are not perfect and the true Christian would not act like he/she is, but still, no breaks for us?
Well, to be honest, even though the Bible says we'd be peculiar among nations, this comes as a surprise to me.

I don't recall telling you all that, but everyone has a chance to be a true Christian and everyone has a choice to be one. It's all on you.

It's not that christians are hated. It's just that there are a lot of ignorant people that turn toward the bible to defend racist and ignorant ideas which leads other ignorant people to think that all christians are racist and bad.
I'm a buddhist and I don't believe that all christians are stupid people.

People at the top still pretend to be Christians to use people. The real Christians have always been persecuted, even by the Roman Church during the inquisitions.

just look at the history and the present of christianity! what's not to be hated....oh you forgot the salem witch trials, killing many indigenous people in the "new world" because they believed in something else and denying same sex couples the right to marry and be free and live happily together and to have a family!

Every group whether a religious group or a a racial group or anything else gets hated badly. I don't think there really is a way to find out who is more hated and I do not think it matters, its bad when anyone is hated for their beliefs.

Like the bro above, christianity and any scriptural religion finds strength in imagined martyrdom. Don't be paranoid. Religions are funny and people like comedies.

So we are to expect this, for if we belong to Jesus they will hate us. So if they like us, do we belong to Jesus?
