Christians, do you agree that Satan in a sense contributed to your existence by tempting Adam and Eve to sin?

Because if Adam and Eve did not sin, you would not exist today.

Yes I agree. Although technically I would exist, but only as a spirit, and not in a mortal body. Which we need to reach our full potential via resurrection and eternal progression. So sure, he plays a part.

The whole Adam and Eve "story" is of the Judaism faith, not Christianity. (if you want to get technical) and if you read the story closely. . . you will recognize that Eve did not exactly sin, she partook of the fruit of all knowledge. The Jewish God forbid her and Adam of taking of the fruit because he knew it would bring Eve to God's level in regards to knowing all.

Satan was created by the Christians to take the place of Jesus being the lamb put to the slaughter (crucifixion) as a penance for the sins of the people. In more layman's terms. . . Satan was created to be the ultimate scapegoat for people to blame their "bad and/or sinful" behavior on.

How do you figure? It's not like Adam and Eve were given genitalia only after they sinned.

No. Adam and Eve were told to be fruitful and MULTIPLY.

This was said to them before they had sinned at all.

No because satan's intent is not towards life but towards death and especially away from God who is the giver of life.
