When you first pushed for universal health care you claimed that there would be no clause to make it mandatory to buy in. We now have a fine if we do not opt in (provided we don't meet exemption, and most of us do not). This has been challenged in many states and will soon face the Supreme Court. How do you justify forcing citizens to either buy in or face a fine as 'regulating commerce'? Should the government be telling us we must buy a product if the only individual that it affects is ourselves?

Do you think balancing trade to improve private sector worker tax revenue as opposed to solly going after corporate owners is a good idea? What are your thoughts on stiffening tariff on imports a little to negate outsourcing oversea labor ? Are multinational corporate lobbyist making it difficult to keep jobs here in America?

The days of the government being run by big business are coming to an end. People are hearing and seeing their friends and families start to join more radical political groups and hear the general disdain for our government. The resentment is rising and rising and as someone who was always the voice of reason and procedure I'm running out of valid arguments for these separatist and anti government groups as they're being proven right. I hope something happens soon to represent what the Americans want in their government or I'm afraid we're on the slippery slope into failure as a country. Our forefathers would be planning a revolution under these conditions, but we've strayed so far away from the Constitution and the reasons this country was formed in the first place that it's almost expected. In short our government has become the very thing that we formed this country against. Big brother pushing us around, taking our money and spending it on things the people don't want and then thumbing their nose at us as if to say "what are you going to do about it?" Sad really sad.

With the United States aiming for a future devoid of foreign energy imports, why do you not push a public-works program that is geared towards sustainable energy production? There is nothing that exists today that costs the same as it did twenty years ago. As we move forward, we should be able to create better technologies for creation, transport and storage of energy. Granted, the immediate costs would be higher but if it is offset by future gains,

Mr President, most economists agree that the reason for the current economic slowdown is lack of consumer demand. What specifically can the government do to increase demand and get the economy moving again?

The Obama Administration wants to restrict the ability of a Corporation to hire someone who is currently employed if there is someone with a long history of unemployment who needs the job.

How can that help if the unemployed would be far less likely to take a job with a company that would give them a chance to get into the work force, but then they would then be trapped in that less than optimum job. They know the new rules would keep them from being hired by another better company and would restrict their opportunities to "move up" in their career?

Does Obama have a solution to that obvious problem?
