My daughter has been completely potty-trained for a month. Why is she regressing now?

She just turned 3 and she's been doing great! No accidents at all. Now she's been peeing in her underwear and today she has pooped in her underwear twice! I'm beside myself. Her birthday was Saturday and we had a great party for her, she's happy, no big stress-inducing life changes or anything, she's not sick... I just don't know why she's doing this now that she's been doing so great for a month!

She is probably not getting rewarded (yay- clapping) like she used to. Even if you don't do it as much still do it sometimes to let her know that she is doing the right thing.

Regressing is normal for some kids. Don't give her a reaction. Just clean her up and remind her that potty goes in the toilet.

I'm not 100% sure but she could be testing your reaction to her doing it in her pants, you said she done it perfectly to start with so maybe she's seeing what happens if she does it wrong. I'm pretty sure after she realises that its gross to have wet underwear and poo in your pants, she'll probably stop it.. x
