Dell Inspiron 530, has Core2 duo e4400, what is the highest core 2 duo I can install?

People have reported being able to upgrade to the e8400. A used e8400 is far more common than the other 2 and it's $100 and less. All 3 chips have 6mb of L2 cache and use the same amount of voltage. The other 2 models has a slightly faster clock speed. The Core 2 Duo e8400 is clocked at 3.0ghz, e8500 @ 3.16ghz, and e8600 @ 3.33ghz.

The e8600 is very rare. Mainly because of it's lousy price point. Why spend $290 on a Core 2 Quad e8600 when you could get a q9550 for less.
