Christians.. I know not all of you do....?

I don't understand it either.. I see so many Christians spreading hate and demanding punishment.. It's gotten to a point where if I mention that I'm a Christian, I get given strange looks and I'm instantly judged. It's depressing..

We don't hate atheists we don't hate homosexuals we don't hate people from other religions we just don't believe in that stuff a. With the part bout atheists it's just we don't agree with each other. The part bout homosexuals we justbelievr God's intentions were for a man and a woman to have sex and create a baby cuz that's what God's plan is, for people to reproduce and keep the population going. I dont turn my back to homosexuals anymore. It's not like they aren't normal in any other ways. They are just like you and me along with atheists and people from different religions. We don't hate anybody.

"If only they [i.e. Christians] had stood fast by the Law, the Gospel, and all the revelation that was sent to them from their Lord, they would have enjoyed happiness from every side. There is from among them a party on the right course, but many of them follow a course that is evil" (5:66).

My dear sister. Sorry that you met people who were condemning but that is not an excuse for leaving the Lord. He didn't do anything wrong. It was people who are never going to be perfect. Christians are all on their own personal walk with the Lord and people will make mistakes. In their actions, in what they say but we shouldn't run from praising God or worshiping God in a church. We are actually allowing satan to get in between us and our brothers and sisters.

We all need to learn how to walk in love and forgiveness. If someone treats you wrong or condemns you YOU have to be willing to forgive them and put it behind you and pray for them. They obviously needed prayer since they were condemning instead of loving. We are all guilty of wrong doing. If you take a look at your own actions you are just as guilty. So let us not point fingers and let us love one another like Jesus said to do. Forgiving those who treat us wrong and praying for them.

I am not a hater. I am trying to live life like Jesus said to live it.

Be honest with yourself first, hon, you turned away from God because YOU wanted to, and now you want to accuse, blame others for your own doings from your own considerations, you took an action that you chose, no need to use any poor excuses to validate your own transgressions against God.

You see, I left going to church because I found too many contrary things, but I did not leave God, nor did I blame Him for the actions of others, or what their mouths say.

I began to study his word for myself and I have clung to it and trusted him, never putting my trust in anyone about my own salvation.

You do come across pretty pompous and judgemental making generalizations that most Christians in the forum do not conform to or abide by.

I don't hate, but I am honest. Christians don't achieve holiness by saying they are holy, it is a gift from the holy spirit and not everyone has it. God made all of us and He loves all of His children, My daughter is homosexual, am I supposed to hate her or judge her or any adult who choses their own private doings in the confines of their privacy with others who consent, no, I don't have to accept it, but I will treat them like I want to be treated and give respect to get it, I don't have to agree with or condone anything, but I must do as my Jesus taught and not judge and accuse, Satan does that enough on all of us daily who try to live by the word.

God will judge everyone and we cannot put words into his mouth about who will be in heaven, we just know that He gave us a plan to follow. When you lose your anger and step out of the world, you will understand it all better, your anger will cease and you will feel the love of God and not invite his wrath upon yourself with judgments and anger.

Your definition of love differs greatly than mine. Your love allows people to stoop to the lowest form of humanity then call me a hater for proclaiming that it's evil. I don't hate homosexuals, atheists or those whose religion differs from mine. Just because I speak against it doesn't mean I hate them.

You're calling me a hater and trying to shut my freedom up, but I don't think you hate me. I just think you don't understand me or you really disagree. Either way, is fine by me. It's not up to me to save you. Salvation is God's business. It works both ways.

Yes, I believe God wants His children in heaven even when they witness to His truths about homosexuals,etc. He's the one who proclaimed it an abomination. I only witness to that truth.

Tsk, Tsk. Christians love the sinners ....not the sin. To be a Christian does not mean you hate every Tom, Dick and Harry who does not copy cat your belief. It's our jobs as Christians to show the atheists, homosexuals, drug addicts, whores, thieves how to turn their lives over to Christ. The blackened hearts you are referring to are the hypocrite Christians, who talk the talk....not walk the walk

they are not Jews using fact Jew's do no longer believe the messiah has come yet. they do no longer believe Jesus so believing in Jesus and asserting your Jewish of course contradicts one yet another.... that's unhappy that there are those Evangelist Christians that decision themselves "Jews". provide up this custom now, your disgracing the two Judaism and Christianity.

Everybody does it at one point or another, even non-christians. Of course, it's not always an idol that people use to hide behind of.

I want to sincerely apologize for the obvious pain and hardship you've endured at the hands of those who called themselves Christians. I know you said the question was not for those who don't "hate", but I wanted to apologize to you and let you know that God still loves you. I don't know you, who you are, or where you're at but I will most definitely pray for you...Not in a condescending way, but just that you would be directed in the right path.
