pink eye how to know if its pink eye?
ok its being 2 days my eye its red looking and having clear discharges and have like a sand feeling inside,not sure if it is cuz this 2 thing happen the same day I was welding and the mask fail too go black once so I end up looking at the light when I was welding,but also whent to try some prescription glasses at the store later that day so how can I know if its pink eye or not my symptoms are veins red not entire eye,clear discharge,both eyes look the same size,and eyes are not glue togheter in morning cuz have heard that when u get pink eye they are glued in the morning

If it were flash burn two days it would be feeling better. You said that the hood didn't change so you at least had it on. Most auto hoods are designed to protect you from the ultraviolet light in the light shade or the dark (I say most because I am not sure about the "cheap" off brand hoods). I would think that it may be an infection/ irritation of some type, go see a doctor. Stick with a "name brand" good hood you get what you pay for, you buy cheap you get cheap. I prefer Speedglas hoods over the others. (the potato idea works)

Most probably not pink eye(conjunctivitis) It is probably from the welding. Sounds like you burned your corneas which is most common when welding without the proper protection. Can be cleared up quickly with some Rx eye drops. and usually patching the affected eye for about 24hrs. Thankfully eyes heal quickly.

Maybe you should go too the doctor. My dad welds & whenever he gets "flash burn" or whatever he pills a potato and puts it on his eyes he says it helps.
But even if it aint pink eye it don't sound too good so i would go too the doc.
