Do you repub-teabag followers enjoy getting taxed by your banks as of late, or maybe you guys are exempt?

Your thinking of bank fees as taxes shows a lack off understanding of the issue. This round of banking fees is a DIRECT result of new, costly Frank-Dodd regulation on banking that is being spewed out on a daily basis. Banks are being put between a rock and a hard place and are expected to swallow it. It is being passed on to the consumer, just like any other business would do. And THIS is without a new Consumer Protection Agency in place yet, dictating what business should do.

  • It is called a fee and I can choose not to pay it by choosing another bank. You do get the fact that companies must make a profit to stay in business and since Obama took away the banks other income sources they are now forced to charge a fee for ATM use.

Or is all this money talk just to confusing to you

If by taxed, you mean the new fees on debit cards-I beat them at their own game.

I do not have a debit card and only keep enough money in a free checking account to cash any checks that I might get. Use a real credit card when I have to and pay it off at the end of each month.

Exempt? no-just smart and not lazy.

Hey, as usual you liberals are pointing in the wrong direction. You can thank that dirt bag liberal senator from Illinois, Dick Durbin for the response from banks. Durbin, in his infinite stupidity went after the banks and wound up costing the average person doing business with banks, new transaction fees.

When will these loser politicians learn the whole story before they attack. So Illinois, what are your plans for the Durbin problem ?

So, I'm guessing you do not use a bank? How do you feel about getting taxed (as you call it) by your bank. Are you exempt?

If a bank charges you for something you don't want or agree with you simply change banks but when your government taxes you you have no choice, is that hard for you to understand?

This is all due to Democrats using law to lower debit card transaction fees.

Instead the banks will now charge us users a fee to make up that revenue.

    Thanks Dems!

It's 0bama's policy that caused it. He told banks that they could no longer collect those fees from companies, so in order to keep their profits up (to satisfy investors) the banks passed the fee onto us.

I don't what taxed by bank is but a bank is a service. They deserve some money because they are protecting our money.
