digital keyboard??need help buying one....?

my criteria is : digital keyboard or piano....

full size (8 octives)

authenic touch

headphones jack

has to be simple

and the price range should be reasonable...

i need one for my brother who is young and his piano teacher told us these options as im a novice at music....just wanted to know what type of keyboad is good?..i was thinking Yamaha: NP30 Portable Digital Piano ....is it any good?...please help...as i know nothing

    The word "authentic" is not helpful. If you want a keyboard that feels like a piano then a new weighted one will cost maybe £4 -500. It's generally reckoned that the best keyboards are Roland,Korg and Yamaha, but I have a Casio & it's pretty good. If you are willing to take a chance on an older model, they are much cheaper, for example I had a Yamaha, cost £220 about 10 years ago but wanted to upgrade. Though it was nearly perfect, I couldn't get £20 for it so I gave it away...
