I had just started work with a new company in March of 1947, met my wife in August 1947 and we married on October 31, 1947. I was making 89 cents an hour, don't remember what my wife was making but we had avery nice apartment in an old farm house, rent was $50.00 a month. Over the years we did a lot of traveling, never made over $10.00 an hour the whole time.We were married 63 years and 9 days when she died on November 9 2010. Money is not everything.

Yep. You will be surprise how a loving woman can adapt to her boyfriends surroundings. Always strive and give her the best comfort as close as possible. Keep her warm in winter and cool in summer. Take extra good care of her and sacrifice your love for her. Be a man and build her the biggest most comfortable house possible. Keep her happy and smiling every single day and night 24/7. Life is hard.
[If things in the relationship are going positive its okay but if things are spiraling downward into the negatives watch out you might be doing more harm than good to her over all well being.]

Of course! Can money make you happy? Well, yeah, but in the end I would much rather have my wonderful husband standing by my side than have the wealth of the world. He means so much more to me than material things. I guess it all comes down to finding the right person...the one you just can't live without!

Yes as long as the potential is there to change that. Everyone wants to have their own place and be able to afford furniture and eating out once in a while.
