someone please tell me why my 8 month old chihuahua is shedding like freaking madd !?

hi there my family breed chuhuahuas and right now they are shedding bad in the next week or so its should stop.just keep a lint roller by you good luck

I've had mine both ways too... but our husband prefers it short... he in no way complains when I grow it long, but is always all over himself w/the complements when I cut it off

if u give a dog cheap food(walmart brands) they will shedd a whole bunch more. give ur dog food that doesnt have corn in ot u will be suprised by how barely any fur comes off him. since he is not hypoallergenic he will still shed quite abit. it also depends on breed but the dog food helps sugnificantly

Fall shed. Getting rid of loose undercoat to make room for the new winter undercoat. Which they will shed again in the spring.

I actually personally think guys look extremely steamy with short hair. I had any guy friend that had a afro and he cut it in seventh grade year and he suddenly received soo much cuter.

Where do you live? Maybe the time of year. What are you feeding? diet. How often do you brush, may be lack of care. Have you talked to your vet. They can give you the best answers.
