What will open up my wind pipe at night?

Well I know I have asthma, and I don't have medical insurance... So it's not like I can go out and get an inhaler. I tried making myself cough up whatever is in my lungs, but that doesn't seem to work. I'm afraid I'm going to drown in my sleep, so if anyone has a solution to my problem, I would appreciate it.

I agree. I don't have asthma but my mother has it and sucking on a cough drop with menthal in it helped her some- Also sleep in a cool room with a fan Do not let yourself get overheated. You really do need an inhaler though :( in case of an emergency. Try to talk to anyone who could help you out with it!
