Do You Think Prosecuting abusers with domestic violence is a waste of money?

Absolutely NOT!

If assault and/or battery on someone you don't live with is punishable, then the same acts on someone you do live with should also be punishable.

I think its a waste when the people that commit Domestic Violence are not properly counseled, and they offend again. And yes, putting them in Jail, and Prison is definitely a waste. I do not in any way shape or form condone Domestic Violence, and yes there is also a difference from a shove, or a slap, to flat out assault, attempted murder, stalking, and in some cases murder. Then you should be properly prosecuted. Because a Wife/Husband can do that to their spouse, and in that instance it should no longer be considered Domestic Violence.

Sending anyone to jail is a waste...

What those kind of people need, is rehabilitation. They don't need to be around people just like them or worse, that just encourages criminal and in alot of cases hostile behavior.

I like giving my wife a good punch in the mouth sometimes...So that means yes.
