Are there any routers that let you divide bandwidth.?

Basically, I am a gamer, my family uses a shitty cheap (my guess is that it wasn't more than 40 dollars at the time) 2-3 year old router to split the signal between our computers. Every time when they start watching some crap online I start getting horrendous lag (ping spikes to 200-500 ms, i get packet loss and choke), tweaking the current router was just hopeless, QoS helped a bit but its still awful (i don't lag as much but i still get persistent packet choke)

Can anyone recommend me a good router (preferably under 100 dollars, but I am willing to go up to 150 if necessary) that will let me set bandwidth quotas for different computers on it (ie. set 1024kbps down and 96kbps up for them (their two laptops, trust me, thats more than they really need) and the remainder for my PC)?

Update:

The problem is not the internet, the problem is that my router is a bottleneck that suffers from performance drops when more than 1 device uses it (quality of service doesn't work as it should so despite my computer being given highest prority i still get lag spikes when someone else is using the router), when noone's home and im the only person using it my connection is flawless.

Update 2:

Nah cholly its not a signal issue, I have 5 bars and the router is literally 9 ft away from my computer. I used to actually have it wired to my computer and the same issue persisted.

Have you checked your signal strength vs. theirs? If that's the issue, a new(bigger, better) antenna on your adapter should do the trick.

EDIT: In that case I'll just keep you in mind when my new router gets here, I just ordered one through Amazon. Is it an "n"?(as opposed to b or g)
