What does "I can do all things in him who strengthens me" mean?

I know it's metaphorical; it doesn't mean you can fly, but (in your opinion) what does it mean more precisely?

    Look back to the immediate context of Phil 4:13. Paul was talking about all the events of his life. He had experienced good times and bad times, yet he learned contentment. He learned to trust God. No matter the circumstance, he could do (handle) all things life threw at him because of the strength of Christ.

    An added thought from that verse is that we can accomplish God's will if we will open our lives to Him completely. God will not force us to follow Him. Such would be spiritual abduction. God gives us the freedom to choose. When we choose God in Christ, we choose for the present and for our eternity.

    Go to a top step and try to fly.

    Did it work?

    All religions are man made. Political ideologies intent on ruling the world by controlling the mind of the slaves that accept it as truth.

    Dare to think for yourself.

    Christianity - The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree.

    It is Phillipians 4:13 and i think it basically means that anything is possible through our Lord as he is the one who gives us strength everyday. Through him we are able to do anything :)

    "His strength is perfect when our strength is gone;

    He’ll carry us when we can’t carry on.

    Raised in His power, the weak become strong"

    It means that Christ gives me the strength to do what I need to do on a daily basis. It means that when we rely on Christ's strength, we can do a lot more than if we try to do things strictly on our own.
