Do you ever wish God would do a *glorious unexpected* with you?
We are called to seasons of remaining faithful and to not grow weary in doing good, but do you ever hope God will do something unexpected and exciting in your life :))
Yes, God's love for us is truly amazing, but I do feel you have missed the essence of the question. Thanks for answering, God bless you.
@Sunshyne, God has done amazing things in my life, but I want more...more of Him and more exciting extraordinary things...there are seasons in our walk with God, and I've been thru all of them, but I want more LOL...It happens when you've been saved a long time :) When God does exciting things you can't go back to the ordinary :))
(((Birdy))) Amen sista! xx
((((((TTC)))))) ROFL!!!
As long as I'm leaking the water of the Holy Spirit I don't mind :)))
I absolutely agree with you....YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN!!! LOL. . . .
@CBUnderoath, thank you for your support, it means a lot to me. Please stay around, we need good Christian men who are sold out for our Lord Jesus Christ. God bless you!
@CBUnderoath, He has got your back, He promises to never leave you. I will pray He will give this reassurance tonight...and thank you for sharing that with us :)
@Orac, I don't go to KFC LOL :)) Veggie :)
(((CountryGirl))) I know exactly what you mean :) PS 37...delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart. God bless you!
(((Bri))) thank you for sharing that. I'm sure you are the best daddy, and I'm sure your family say that too :) I don't have children, so I can't say I'm a good mum, but I can be here for anyone who needs a helping hand...but Jesus said we would do greater things for God, I and many others want to *greater things* for Him :)) God bless you always! :)

First of all, this is the first time I've visited the Spiritual or Religious section. And I must say that I'm already disgusted with the amount of trolling done by those who don't even believe in God. Please, if you're not going to post anything worth the time it took to type it, just don't comment. It's like you have nothing else in your lives to live for other than trying to bash someone else's beliefs. Come off your high horse and keep your opinion to yourself. This person asked a question that was genuine to him/her.
Now, as for an answer to the question. Yes, I feel like that all the time. Sometimes I just need the reassurance that He's got my back no matter what.

NO. Actually I like the not grow weary in well doing even though it does get tedious at times. And I do know what this is talking about.
It's enough to know that I'm a small part of it and I need only do my little part while watching His greater purposes play out among the battles being fought in the kingdoms of men. Just the fact that He gives me much peace of mind, body and soul in these times of great turbulence and tumult is enough for me.
Still, He gives me enough of those little miracles to know He is there and that He cares and is in control. Indeed, if He'd do something glorious unexpected then I'd have to tell everyone about it so I'm very happy just doing what I can in the here and now.

Yes I do. I've known the Lord 36 years, and I still pray that the Lord will use me in a positive and special way.. I have a strong desire to feel that REALLY close walk, and know that He is doing something just amazing in my life, that hopefully will affect others in a good way. That's what my heart desires. .I am a person who does appreciate every day of life and I don't want to ever take it for granted or waste any of it because I do believe it is something to cherish. This is a good and thought provoking question.

I used to think it had to be something big, noticeable, or where I am affecting many men and bringing them to the righteous path of our Lord and Savior............until
I heard that you can give God Glory even by brushing your teeth !!!!!!!!!!!!
Now that is funny, so let's get the laughs out of the way, cause I laughed to, until you dig a little deeper into what that statement means.
I have a brother who is a famous cosmetic surgeon? What good is he if his work is not for God's Glory, or the purposes of God are not accomplished in his life.
No offense to say, a maid or a janitor, but to me, if their allegiance is to Jesus Christ and they do their daily work in service to His Kingdom-----that, my friend, is EXCITING.
For me, just being a good Daddy is all I want to please The Most High

Have you ever wondered if God gets disheartened when people don't recognize when he saves us or does something exciting for us. He parted the red sea and the Israelites turned their back on God anyway. Would it be any different with us? Maybe we need to look around and be open to his gifts and not expect pigs to fly because that type of proof obliviously does not work or the Jews would still be the chosen people.

He has done Marvelous things in life.. I wish more people believed in Him because he is so real... The only way he can do things in your is if you allow him to.. Spending time with Him (reading the bible, praying), must have a relationship with him (devoted or commited). Must stay in Faith and not worry.. Faith without works is dead. If you arent doing what your supposed to do as Christian it wont happen for you. And thats why people fall out of faith and stop trusting in God.
Its a lifestyle. When he sees your heart, Great things will Manifest! i PROMISE You!

God has done that many times in my life. Absolutely unforeseen. Often you think that you have no idea what will happen but you do know the possibilities from which what happens will issue. But I have been utterly surprised by an unexpected wonderful outcome. I won't say what it is because there are some blasphemous types to whose punishment I don't want to be an incidental cause.

I wish God would destroy and remake yahoo answers in a glorious and unexpected way and keep atheist from deleting questions made by christians.

to do his works alone is exciting..the ridicule, the humilation, the joy and the pain..its already an adventure of a lifetime..is the unexpected expected ? you hope that someday what you have done will bore fruits in the end whether you see them or not.
