Signed up with a Temp. Agency, and found a full time job...?

Over the summer I signed up with a temp agency (Accountemps), and did one assignment with them for a 2 weeks. I recently found a full time job on my own, how do I tell the temp agency I am no longer interested in their services? I'm not sure if I want to tell them I found a job, as the may feel they are owed a 'buy-out fee' even though they didn't find the job for me?

Should I tell the temp agency I found a job, or just ignore them when they call?

This happens all the time - you won't be hurting the temp agencies "feelings".

Just let them know you found work

It is proper to let them know, so they can update their records

    Worked temp for many years.

There is only a buy out fee if the company that you worked temp with wanted to hire you full time (the same company)

You should call the temp agency and let them know that you are no longer looking for a job. Dodging their calls would be immature, and who knows, you may need their services again sometime in the future. You do not owe the temp agency a 'buy-out fee' or an explanation. Just give them a courtesy call and let them know that you are no longer available for temp assignments. If you have online access you may even be able to delete or inactivate your account.

Just let them know you are not interested in working temp positions anymore and ask them to take your name off their active list. You don't have to tell them anything more if you don't want to.

You simply call them up and tell them you no longer need their services. They wont come after you or anything.
