Is it fair to Felipe Massa?
It is resonating around F1. Is it fair to say that he is not working hard like his teamate Fernando Alonso, in the same vein as to say that he seems to be underachieving and Alonso seems to be overachieving, or that Alonso is getting all the team attention, that the Spaniard has scored 200+ points already and the Brazilian has earned just 90 points. The gap is bigger now than last year's final tally with four more races to go.

Well there is two reasons
1. Ferrari are just backing Fernando more because Fernando has won the world title twice in his career and has a better amount of accolades in his career over Felipe
2. The injury that had Felipe out for half of the 2009 season would have affected him in a way. Head injuries can change people's careers for the worse, that could be the reason
Maybe it is the two reasons mixed together

Maybe it's just me, but it seems like Massa has not been able to regain his form from before his big head injury. Getting nailed in the noggin tends to have an effect on people. I am a little surprised Ferarri hasn't cut him loose yet.

I don't know whether he's working hard, or not, but I do think he's not been the same driver since his crash. I don't remember him whinging as much as he does these days.

He's a good guy, but he can't be the same since that accident at Hungaroring .
