Does proactive actually work? Please help.?
So I have bad acne on my shoulders and a little bit on my back. I've been using this OXY body wash and scrubbing really hard desperately trying to get rid of the acne. But nothing seems to be working. I've tried clearasil pads and I'm currently using another brand of pads, but for some reason I'm not getting the results I'd like to see. Does anyone here use proactive and does it really work? If not, could you recommend a better product for me to use? Anything would help. Thanks.

Honestly man, none of that stuff worked for me, including Proactive. If anything, all that stuff did for me was make it worse.
After years of battling with acne, I finally gave up. Not to long after I did, it started to clear on its own. I assume that using all those products just made it worse, which makes sense since each product reacts with your skin differently.
All-in-all, I recommend for you to just use a regular bar of soap and water. That's what worked for me at least. Also, don't feel like having acne is the end of the world. I know its embarrassing, but everyone's got it nowadays. Just come to appreciate who you are and if no one can see past it, then f*** em. Check out this site too: www.perfectlynot.com. It's a great tool to realize no one is perfect and that everyones got problems--no need to stress about the things you can't control.

I would not bother wasting money on proactive. Try taking a bath with sea salts, worked for me!
