He would react in a logical, non-emotional manner and ask questions such as:
Are you a member of the Starfleet?
Show Vulcan hand salute when greeting or saying Good bye.
The Vulcan salute is a hand gesture consisting of a raised hand, palm forward with the fingers parted between the middle and ring finger, and the thumb extended. Often, the famous line, "Live long and prosper", is said after it.
The less-known reply is "Peace and long life.
