How can I merge to Facebook Business Pages into on page?
I have to pages for my business on Facebook, and I am trying to merge the old one into the new one. I only get the option to merge the new into the old. That is pointless to me. Facebook does not offer support, they do have a help section covering merging, but I couldn't find the answer to my question.
the problem I am running into is not covered anywhere in your help section. Please allow me to explain.The FB business page i have had for awhile is http://www.facebook.com/heydjbobby, it is NOT working correctly. When I click on my link from my personal website, it will not take me there unless I am logged into FB already. That doesn't happen with any other FB business page I try to access when I am NOT logged into FB. It also will not show updates via mobile anymore. I cannot figure out why, so I am trying to abandon that page without losing any of my fans.
I am trying to claim that page http://www.facebook.com/heydjbobby and merge it into this one http://www.facebook.com/pages/Hey-DJ/2544975412635... My new Hey DJ Facebook page. When I go to edit info/resources, I do not get the option to claim the page. I do get the option on the old http://www.facebook.com/heydjbobby in edit info/resources to claim the new Hey DJ facebook page http://www.facebook.com/pages/Hey-DJ/2544975412635... I would like to merge the old one into the new one so to speak. I would greatly appreciate your help.

When companies merge, they no longer need two websites. Merging the sites is not just a matter of creating a few links between the sites. The web designer needs to condense the information, evaluate the look of the site, create new links, fix the navigation and perform usability tests. This is a time-consuming process that may take anywhere from a few hours to a few days of dedicated work, depending on the size of the sites.

Catalog the contents of the two sites by making a list of site-specific pages. Decide which pages can be condensed into one page, which pages to keep separate, and which to delete. For example, if your business has similar services, condense the pages from each site that describe the services. During the merger you might have decided to eliminate some services, so you can delete those pages.

Condense the information by revising the text on the pages you want to keep. Delete unnecessary pages.

Evaluate the look of the site. Which design do you want to keep? If you prefer one design, delete the other Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) pages you no longer want. Change the CSS link on all pages to the preferred CSS style by deleting old CSS pages. Include a link to the new CSS page. This will apply your preferred style, such as color, borders, effects, text style and size to all individual pages.

Draw a sketch of the new site's organization by making boxes for individual pages. Draw lines between the pages where you would like the links. Decide which pages should go on the main navigation bar and which are secondary pages. Sketch the navigation bar with the link names.

Adjust the navigation bar on the site. Deleting links you no longer need and add new links for the new information. If your old navigation bar had links for "home," "products," "in-home services" and "contact us" and you have decided to eliminate in-home services for a link called "drop-off delivery," remove the "in-home services" link and add the "drop-off delivery" link.

Check all your individual pages and delete links to pages you've deleted. Add links for the new pages.

Have people that represent the demographics of your users, (such as young professionals in their 20s) use the site and make comments. Ask them to complete a few simple tasks, such as making a pretend purchase or finding a piece of information. This is known as usability testing; this is a very cost-effectiveway to test your website for errors and design flaws.

Upload the new site to your server when you are satisfied with the look and content of the site. Notify registered users by email that your site has changed and give them the URL of the new site.
