My kitten likes going under the blacket why does he find this so calming?

kittens are used to being slept on and warm from there litter mates, being in the dark warmth of under a cover with the weight of it on top of them is reassuring for them. maby try giving him a hot water bottle (covered) and a toy of roughly the same size as him with a (chew proof) watch (simulates heat beats) wrapped to it. to help him settle in, you will also notice the toy becomes a surrogate sibling and your kitten fave toy, getting cleaned buy him, carried every where and slept with even into old age after the watch is removed

it dark and it quite for it my do it if frighting so i all say it ok but if it is cold

it's dark, quiet and warm, and it may remind him of when he was still with his mother.
