    While a noble promise, taking a salary cut by the President will not do much for the economy. Ron Paul has good ideas but he is too far from the political mainstream to get elected.

    I think Paul actually cares about the country and I do believe he has very fiscally responsible positions. However, he will never be the front runner. Paul stands too much in opposition of the Washington power status quo.

    Ron is quite sound but not everyone agrees with him. Liberals hate him because he forces personal responsibility and conservatives are sceptical about his foreign policy but he seems a lot better than most alternatives.
