One Piece is PG-13 - Teens 13 or older. The manga (which the anime is completely based on) runs in the premiere Shounen Jump magazine. People from the ages of 7 to 60 read it. It's the top selling manga in Japan.

So it's going to have risque tid-bits but it's also going to have fights, silly humour, sad death scenes and flashbacks, and FRIENSHIP. One Piece is exactly the way it is now as the way it started.

The most you're gonna get from One Piece is a little bit of side boob, which occurs alot more later on in the series when nami's boobs just get bigger and bigger. You can also see Luffy's junk in the amazon lily arc, Franky's butt in water 7 (it would be full frontal if he wasn't covered by a plank of wood), Dr Kureha would also have full frontal nudity if his junk wasn't covered by snow.

People in bikini's is only erotic to those who think it is. Other people view it as a swimsuit. It's honestly your choice to decide if One Piece is erotic or just playing the 'sexy lady' card like every other major motion picture and anime.

It's called "Shōnen", Shōnen means "boys'", not men, but boys. Which means the target is for young boys(girls can watch these too)around 8-13 or so. Same with Naruto or Naruto: Shippuden. Dragon Ball is a Shōnen, but does show nudity.

Stuff like Kyo Kara Maoh!, Durarara!!, Blue Exorcist, Bakuman, etc... Some of these are listed as Shōnen(not Kyo Kara Maoh!, this is a Shōjo, but I would NOT recommend this for young ones like 8-13) but works more for teenagers around 14-15+, it bores smaller kids more.

But One Piece should be fine for you, there is nothing, by ANY means, erotic in there, trust me.

It's a great anime, gets so much better as it goes on. It's quite unusual for someone to start liking one piece at episode ~74. Don't stop watching it!! It's an amazing anime, I would recommend it to everyone in the world if i could.
