What is your favorite scene from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer (Philosopher)'s Stone?

On the boats on the way to the Hogwarts Castle...that's where all the magic begins..

The troll in the dungeon. The way they fight it, the way Hermione takes the blame.

Dumbledore's dry wit. When he tells Harry what happened in the dungeon is a secret so the whole school knows.

(Also from the Half Blood Prince he tells Harry that he (Harry)is unfailingly kind; a trait people never fail to undervalue).

Now that I think about it there are a lot of favourite scenes- Neville in Herbology, Neville standing upto them, Quidditch, Harry in zoo, Hagrid meeting Harry in the cabin......so many

I love at the end when harry is in the Hospital Wing and Hagrid comes to see him and Harry shouts VOLDEMORT really loud to stop Hagrid crying.

Wouldn't this question be 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher (Sorcerer )'s Stone' as Philosopher's is the books real name. It's just in the US they changed it but everywhere else, and JK Rowling herself, made it Philosopher's Stone

My typical books> there's a tie: Chamber of secrets and methods and Order of the Phoenix. Yeah, bk 5 the place Sirius died I felt so unhappy, yet did no longer cry. I cried basically whilst Dumbledore died. Fav action picture> Prisoner of Azkaban! It grow to be soooo cool. (feels like lots of ppl r interior the harry potter temper!!!)

I have to agree with you. The Mirror Of Erised scene is my fav too <3 It had deep themes and inspiring quotes that will help shape your understanding of the story.

The Quidditch Match in which Quirrel is trying to jinx Harry off his broom but Snape is doing the counter jinx.

My favorite part was when harry and Ron were stuck in the devils snare and hermione was losing it saying there was no wood to build a fire and Ron yelled ate you a witch or what? I thought it was so funny.

When they are doing the puzzles and trying to get through to the Philosopher's stone.

"I'm not going home, not really" that's my favourite! Saying goodbye to Hagrid and boarding the train, one year over, but the magic just beginning!
