Question about microsoft office 2010 license rules?
I am looking to purchase office 2010 from microsoft. These packages are listed for say 3 installs. Lets say over time I switch harddrives and now I am on to number 4. Could I still activate my software or would I have to buy another license.

The license is for Home and Student is for 3 installs. Installing another HD after a crash does not count as another install. Be aware that the license can vary depending on how you buy the software.
If for some reason the product key fails to activate, you will be given a phone number to call and after you explain that you only have installs on 3 computers, they will give you a key that will work.
