I would like to exchange the ps fluid in my stealth. Can I use Mobil 1 synthetic ATF or some other synthetic ATF in the system?

I just installed windows 7 ultimate in a dell 760. I then upgraded the ram to 4gb. The computer says 4gb installed, 3.46 gb usable. Is 3.46 the limit, so if I install another 2gb it will not be used by the computer?

I am looking to purchase office 2010 from microsoft. These packages are listed for say 3 installs. Lets say over time I switch harddrives and now I am on to number 4. Could I still activate my software or would I have to buy another license.

I have an opportunity to buy into a chiropractic practice, by purchasing some of the S corp stock from the owner. I will then become a partial owner of the corp. I have learned that in the past the owner did not file corp. taxes and got into trouble with the IRS. He is now paying it back on a 10 year plan. My question is, if I buy in and he defaults on the payments can the IRS come after me because I would be part owner. I am thinking yes, and I correct?

I replaced the pwr. supply on this desktop and the computer runs great now. But since then I have noticed the screen saver does not start. Any ideas of why this is?

I have a 92 Dodge Stealth with only 14K on it, it sits a lot. I drove it the other day and the speedo would not go over 20mph, or it stayed at zero. It worked perfectly in august and now it is erratic. Any suggestions why?

My question is: Is it better to leave a lcd monitor on with a screen saver or does putting it into standy (turning off lamp) shortern the light source lifespan. Does turning off the lamp and turning it back on drastically shorten the life of the bulbs.

I had 2gb RAM in my 755 and I just put in a 2 gb stick. The system now states I have 3.23 gb instead of the 4 I expected to see. I am running XP. Anyone know the reason, is it a limitation of XP?

I just got a rebuilt dell 755 and I am using an external dial up modem. It works fine with one exception. When I first start my computer it does not recognize the modem. Even the lights on the modem are off. I must unplug the USB plug and plug it back in and it then works just fine. Any ideas what is the problem?

I am about to get a used optiplex 755 that uses the new PCIe slots. I still use dial-up and I want to know if a standard pci modem will fit the pcix1 slot.

If not I guess I will get an external usb modem

If you back up the data on a Dell server on say a tape drive. If the hard drive fails, can you simply install the new drive and restore? Or do you first have to install the server 2003 operating system first then restore.

I was recently hooking up a Dell server to a UPS and realized it had 2 power cords. I believe this must be a backup power supply in the server for reliability. Am I correct, and I connected both cords into the UPS. Does this connection sound correct?

I live in MN and I really do not want to ship cats. I would prefer to drive them home. Any breeders say within a 10 hour drive from the twin cities, in Minnesota?

What is that beep? and how can I get rid of it, short of disconnecting the speaker.

the tranny on my camry wagon 94 v6 is shifting harsh into 3rd and I think sometimes overdrive. I have always used Mobil 1 synthetic tranny oil. I did a drain and refill a couple of times along with the filter and it seems to be somewhat better. I tried trans tune and that did help. Is there any other additive I can try that will not hurt the tranny. the car does have 235K on it and it still runs great.

I dont have the benefit of an air compressor, but I need a clean plug hole prior to torquing iridium plugs. Any suggestions on cleaning down there without getting crap into the cylinders? Thanks

94 v6 camr, 230K miles Check engine light is on, od flashing, no overdrive. It used to be intermittant but not any longer. I replaced the ECM so it is not that. What do you techs out there think the chances it is the overdrive solenoid valve. I have a new valve but I ask because I must drop the valve body to replace it.

I just loaded a copy of this program the x-copy platinum. I wanted to back up my personal dvd collection but the program will not copy a disk with copy protection. When I purchased it, I was under the impression it would do this. Is there something else I have to do with this software? Is there a program that will indeed copy my dvds.

I have just loaded IE version 7 in my computer. I have dial-up and the modem is working fine. The problem is sometimes when I first boot-up and connect online IE7 will not recognize the modem and says cannot open the page. It seems that I have to shut down and try again. It will then work and when it works it works great. Any ideas?
