Can you sign up for an aol account on a cell phone?

Ok, i have a new phone( lg rumor touch) and it has an email app that will let me use aim. I forgot my username and password though. I want to just sign up for a new one on my phone, but for some reason it won't let me ( i tried opera mini and the regular browser). My phone is the only way i get the internet right now, so is there any way to sign up for a new account on my phone?
