Mildew smell in electric guitars: w/o disassembly, how to eliminate?

It doesn't bother me a lot but I want to SELL them and it might put off a potential buyer. How can I kill that mildew odor? Do I need to take the guitar apart and spray the body or is there another way? I've posted a similar question before but not satisfied with those answers. Thanks!

    You can use Febreeze and then Furniture Polish.
