    There's no obvious attempt to overthrow the government or political system through direct violence against them,so no.

    It's not a revolution. There is little organisation to it towards a common goal. They don't even understand why they're rioting. I'd call it social discontent.

    Why is it OK that they retire at 50 and get bankrolled by Europe? Kick them out of the EU and be done with them.

    Not in Greece, no. They did something similar after the war, but Britain came to their rescue by shooting a lot of them, and some years later the US provided them with a stable government in the form of a load of thug colonels who had a thing about making people shave.

    I expect something similar can be arranged this time too.
