How come Obama is driving around in the USA in a bus built in Canada while promoting a Jobs bill?

... getting 6mpg while promoting his green technology.

First recognize Obama didn't choose it or buy it. The Secret Service did to meet their security requirements.

The basic chassis was made in Canada. It was chosen because it was the best bus available ... made by a company that specializes in private buses for celebrities, government, etc. More than half the total cost of the finished bus was paid to US companies. To have bought a totally US made bus would have been much more expensive and/or not been as good. Then you would have had some other excuse to criticize.

Are you going to complain now because Obama used a Canadian phone (Blackberry) -- until the Secret Service forced him to stop for security (not buy American) reasons. Or that Air Force One has non-US made parts? Or that the bus uses gasoline from oil that was pumped and shipped by foreigners? Or that he watches a non-US made TV? Or that he eats foreign bananas?

Recognize that once you don't like the guy any excuse to criticize is valid, no matter how stupid.

That is where the US Secret Service bought the bus from, it was pimped out in Tennessee. Don't worry, the Republicans are still blocking any attempt to create jobs in America.

Obama didn't buy the bus, it's a Secret Service thing.

And they bought TWO of those busses, one for Obama and one for the eventual Republican nominee. Are you going to bash him too when the time comes?

What bothers me is the cost of the bus, to the taxpayer. It is like the president has a blank check. He is supposed to be a public servant. This turning politicians into icons doesn't make sense to me.

Better than that, they fly or drive it while he takes his plane or copter, and only arrives at site in the bus! Talk about a waste of money and one big asss carbon print!!!!

It must have something to do with his "redistribution of wealth thing" !
