Definitely. I just think the laws against pot do more harm than the pot itself.

Yes. Research shows that marijuana is beneficial and not harmful. The plant can be used to make clean burning fuel, high quality cloth and paper, the seeds have more protein then most other seeds, the buds can be used as a completely natural medicine. Marijuana does not incite violence or agression and it makes users more relaxed and open minded. The law that made marijuana illegal was illegal because marijuana was only placed with the other drugs as a class one drug until studies came back and then it was to be moved. The studies came back showing no negative effects physically or socially from marijuana. This meant marijuana was supposed to be taken off the list of class one drugs but it was never taken off the list.

Probably. I do not use Drugs of any kind BUT I can report that WALL STREET has done much more harm to the lives of People around the World than Marijuana.

Wall Streeters should be in jail and not the little guy who is trying to forget his sorrows by smoking some stuff.

Yup. Just cause it's legal doesn't mean it shouldn't be regulated just like tobacco and alcohol. Legalize, tax, regulate. It is a civil liberty.

No DR's are going to be operating stoned, that's just like saying because alcohol is legal DR's will be operating on people drunk...bad response.

There has never been a cannabis enduced death, it is the safest most therpeutic plant known to man.

As long as alcohol is legalized, marijuana should be legal as well.

In response to the person who said this: "nope, i wouldn't want a doc high on pot doing surgery on my child and screw up"---> Alcohol is legal and doctors perform surgeries drunk all the time, right?

Yes. Marijuana should be legal and regulated, primarily because there is no reason for it not to be.

  • Thanks to liberal hero FDR and his Marijuana Tax Act of 1937, ALL marijuana is a Federal crime. As a non-pot smoker, I would vote yes, because that should be a matter for the individual States to decide and filling prisons with the casual user is ridiculous.

Only if it would include hashish. When I was a kid I alwys like a small square of hash to regular weed.

No, we already have enough dumbed down, lacking in ambition addicts. It also is a gateway to harder drugs.

It would simply make a lot of people rich by getting dope from Mexican mules and getting our youth hooked.
