Soaps, YR. Will Adam become the 'Victor' of the future?

Oh, I agree 100% with you. I noticed that the other day how old Victor is looking. I find it interesting that Adam, who had the least influence by Victor growing up is turning out to be the MOST like him. Plus you throw in the old good brother, bad brother angle, a woman they both want (Sharon) and you have fodder for YEARS of S/L's. Adam truly IS Victor Newman Jr.

Yes Adam is very much a chip off the old block. Nick could never be that mean and he has too many weaknesses. Adam is the only person cold enough to replace Victor when the time comes.

Without Victor, Y&R would suck big time. Remember that time when he was away a few years ago on contract issue?, the show was a bummer. As well, even though a lot of people think that Victor is odium, I however don't think so. I just so having to understand Victor, he is a great dude with a big heart. Victor Jr. (Adam) however, he is on a whole nother lever of evil. At some point, someone is going to kill him and it's going to be a case of: who, why, and with what weapon.

Just like I had posted on here several days ago, that both Victor and Katherine should retired dues to their health and ages..Last year on a spoiler website it did stated that Victor was going to retired at the end of this year, but you know how they keep changing stories..now as for Katherine I wonder how her health is dues to her having surgery..I did notice how Victor was starting to look really old, but I really don't want to get rid of these characters, they should be replace with someone that can look and act just like them..Now Adam is like the black-sheep of the family and is very evil and mean just like Victor is..like father like son..Nick is the so-called innocence and acts like a baby when he should be the oldest and take more responsibilities..and them both fighting over Sharon is so lame anymore it is sickening..LOL..=)

I keep saying this haha. The only thing is that i love Adam (one of the only people here that does, i know) and i can't stand Victor. But i can't wait to see Adam being large and in charge, that should be fun.

If Adam takes over Newman,Victor will have to be totally dead. You're right,Nick is way too cute and nice.Victoria is an air head and there is no one else that would be up to the task.

Adam HAS the potential to be Victor but I say this, Adam doesnt have the inner goodness that Victor does or did have years ago. Victor prior to 2009 had deceny in him, he'd do anything for his family and would never set out to intentionally hurt any of them, although that has now changed.

Adam doesnt have that goodness yet (outside of sharon), he hasnt show any kindess to any of his family.

Yes Adam has that same ruthlessness, calculating ability, business sense that Victor has but he doesnt have the loyalty aspect of it.

Adam can try to be as bad as dear old dad, but there can only be one person like Victor, and that is Victor.

I think Adam should have a son... a son who will hate him.

Maybe Adam should prenate Sharon and she can give him a son, Victor the III.

I agree! But I think when Victor (Eric B.) leaves the show, the show will be over. The anchors (Victor, Mrs. C, Jack) of the show are the reasons it's still on air.
