Aww man, thats not very nice?

I've been blocked, not naming names, but obviously a very intellectual user who knows truth when they see it. Bummer, now I can only see intelligent questions :(

Anyways, do you think we will ever see soft-handed enforcers in the game as much as we have over the past few decades? The likes of Jarome Iginla and Bob Probert aren't as common anymore. Why or why not do you think we will or won't?

This all goes back to the Instigator rule. Guys like Probert, Terry O'Reiley, Clark Gilles were enforcers that could actually score goals. If you recall Iginla a couple of seasons ago came out throwing punches all over the place, which led to him suffering in the scoring dept as well as the penalty box. The problem now is your better players risk the additional 2 minutes on top of the 5 they already get. It's easier to lose a Laraque-type player for that time than an Ignila. I see teams using the AHL shuttle for games against certain other teams when they feel more muscle is needed. As long as the Cap rises, teams can afford to keep the Trevor Gillies, Jody Shelley types on their rosters. If the cap were to suddenly fall off, might change things a bit and you would see more Travis Moen- types on rosters.

I'm guessing either a Canucks fan or Subban...

Soft handed enforcer sounds an awful lot like an oxymoron, but I get what you mean. I don't think they'll be as common, just due to the fact that the role of enforcers are being cut down more and more because of the recent concussions in the NHL. Also, wouldn't Sean Avery be considered a soft-handed enforcer? just curious...

You will find that certain users in this section have no life, in fact their life consists entirely of Yahoo Answers. Go ahead and check the stats, they don't lie. If they don't like you, they'll block and report you. Why? Because you call them out on the fact that they lie, cheat, and spend their whole time on here. "I don't have another account" becomes "I stopped using that account I just forgot to deactivate it" and the next thing you know, your account has been suspended.

Source(s): Certain users in here need to act their age and stop lying about who they are in a sad attempt to impress teenagers and young adults.
