Why do liberals claim the OWS protesters aren't committing crimes?

it is because liberals are liars.

Some things never change.

I am old enough to remember many times when the people have taken to the streets to demonstrate; civil rights, anti Vietnam, peace marches, anti apartheid, women's rights, impeach Nixon, gay rights and against the Iraq war.

Every time the right wing bring out the same arguments we are breaking the law, committing crimes. Well on the many protests I have taken part in I never saw any violence or crime but that started by the police.

Anything rather than address the real concerns of large numbers of the population for human rights, justice and peace.

And here you go again, the world is in a real mess because of corporate greed and real criminal activity of those who play monopoly with our money and all you can do is try to deflect from the real issues.............. again, with the same old lies.

The Civil Rights Movement was ugly.

The Colonists independence from England was ugly.

Tiananmen Square protests were ugly.

Occupy Wall Street is real. This ain't no tea party.

And there has been one reported rape and a couple of people busted for drugs out of thousands of people over six weeks And trespassing is a civil infraction more often then not

How about mutual fund companies giving loans they know will fail at the same time investing thier money in stocks that profit of loans failing while at the same time encouraging other investers to invest in the mortgages?

In reading the answer I see that there are many people the make up reason for there action. When you break the law you break it. Just because some did something you do not like does not mean you can break a law. You have a right to speech just do not break the law in doing it. Did you see any women raped at a Tea Party gathering?

Because that isn't happening and just like our boss paid us to write troll comments against the protesters. You are being paid to write this. Also, some were told to go in and throw rocks and do stuff to make them look like criminals. Shows money can buy anything.

The tea party had the big business interests behind them and the money. The protesters are the poor and easily manipulated by the rich. I know you are only making minimun wage and they are for you.

Why do Conservatives claim that pollution, environmental damage,

and outright fraud aren't crimes?
