CD is stuck in my mac ibook, makes sounds when trying to eject?

There is no pin hole to eject cd on ibooks. Everytime i click eject it tries to, making all sorts of sounds, but it never comes out. I've tried restarting and holding down the eject button at start up, but it still won't come out. What can i do!?

    stick a needle into the opening, see if you can help it along. Stick it in there at the same time you are pushing the eject button

    Likely a jammed up eject mechanism. It may be that the only thing you can do is disassemble it (which is a huge pain on iBooks), remove the drive, and open it up to get the CD out.

    You can try using the tip of a butter knife and force it open.
