Are Americans tired of the protesters foolishness?

I suppose they are if they view protesting as foolishness. Those of us who see it as a way for Americans to try to have their issues heard do not.

Protesting has a long history in the United States of America and it's part of the American Way.

No because the majority of Americans agree with the movement. Only gullible fools who are being snowed by those who are threatened by OWS are the ones opposing it.

The dirty, smelly hippy smear didn't go far enough to keep people from joining OWS. Now that it's becoming bigger, there are fake or planted stories about rampant drug abuse, rapes, violence, etc. being perpetrated by people who want to silence the protest.

Since when did real Americans have a problem with peoples rights to assemble and freedom of speech?

no, what I'm tired of is those who just criticize the protesters who at least are trying to do something. they are correct to go after the bankers since those are the guys causing all of our problems and 'our' congress will no longer listen to us.

I can't say I even pay attention anymore. Then again I don't have to go anywhere they're protesting so it's easier for me to ignore them. If they actually accomplish something I'm sure I'll hear about it.

Quite tired. They've had the opportunity to have their say. They've long since crossed the line between protest, and anarchy.

Personally, I think it's inane and stupid. If they really want to make a difference they need to be contacting their representatives, not camping out in the street. That accomplishes nothing.

1 year from now, people won't be saying "Oh wow, look at all the change OWS brought to government." No, they'll be saying "Remember all those fools that camped out in the street for weeks on end??"
