PayPal, bidding, and Ebay?

I want to bid on something on ebay, but I don't have a paypal account.

When and if I win the item, do I HAVE to have a paypal account to buy it? Or is there a guest checkout thing for paypal when I win?

Thanks!

In order to have a guest checkout you'd have to have some sort of payment avenue on there, so why not just make an account.

PS Never ever pay a stranger with Western Union.

Their own website warns of this. Sellers will not accept

postal money orders either, but they will accept some other kinds of money orders.

You need to make arrangements with the seller **before you bid**, as most dont want to hassle with all the waiting process of other types of payments.

You can arrange with the seller and send payment by using a money order slip from the post office and if it is an international seller then you can use Western Union. I would advise you to get a PayPal account however as it can offer you protection when you buy things over the internet and as it is very easy to set up and use. Hope this helps.
