how do i fix a ram problem?
i was trying to download some things for my mp3 and all of a sudden this warning pops up talking about ram memory failure high risks or something like that n these virus protection things started poping up also so i just tried to turn my computer off and turnit back on and when i turned it back on the home screen was black but i could still see the icons and start place. i have know idea how to fix this any ideas. thx
and for those of you who dont know what i am asking i want to know how do i get my screen back to normal instead of being black hope i broke it down enough
SN by the way for those of you that don't know what that stands for let me break it down for you it stands for second note any who, I also would like to say if you don't know the answer to my question how about trying not getting rude or smart if you don;t know the answer but shutting the blank up. when i say that the screen is black i mean that the background is actually black but i can still see the icons and every thing else but most of the icons are gone,and the computer wont let me access the internet,the pop ups were about protection scans and virus protection computer downloads i can also still acess my computer and the control panel other than that thats all i know .
p.s the errors said ram memory failure other than that i cant remember

It's difficult to diagnose your problem without knowing what any of the errors or other popups actually said. When you say the screen is black, do you mean that just the desktop background disappeared? Is it possible to change the desktop picture per normal? At the very least, I'd start with a basic virus and malware scan. If you continue to have errors or popups, copy them down and ask a new question, quoting what you see. It'll help us narrow down the possible causes of your problem.
