Are these good fountain Pens for professional work?
I bought some P58 Pelikan Fountain pens for inking my comics and illustrations, however Pelikan recommends using their 4001 formula ink for the pen than type A Drawing ink for consistent results. Has anyone had any problems with 4001 ink?

since pelikan 4001 ink is a fountain ink it will be fine in a fountain pen Pelikan inks are high quality. only ever use ink designed for fountain pens. Drawing inks are often thicker then fountain pen inks or contain corrosive chemicals in them that will damage a fountain pen.I am not sure if 4001 is waterproof, i have never tested it, but if you need a waterproof ink for your work try something like Noodlers Bulletproof ink it is waterproof, fraud proof and loveley to use.
