    Yes you can.

You have to navigate to the self service tab on the top of the AKO menu bar.

    From there select my education.

then on the left of the screen you should see a link to a page called SkillSoft (https://usarmy.skillport.com/skillportfe/custom/lo...

from there it will take you to another AKO screen that says click here for new user or click here for returning user.

You will be required to create a log in, and it requires you to have your log-in approved by your supervisor (not difficult, just place your supervisor's AKO email and once they approve it you are good to go)

Once you log on, just go to the catalog tab on the left, select rosetta stone from the files, and select your language.

yes AKO offers Rosetta stone free for personnel and their dependents. alas the Army is the only one that does this. My cousin used it when they PCSd to Germany a few years ago.

being Navy, I have no idea where to find it in AKO though, I just remember watching her sign on and using it.

    Yes it is true.

To access it you have be a service member, you cannot be on a sponsored account (dependent or employee).

When you log into AKO, go to "Self Service" > "My Education," and then go to the link for "Army E-Learning." Register and the Rosetta Stone classes can be accessed from the website.
