Looking for a good running harness for my 15 pound rat terrier that won't irritate his skin?
I have a 15 pound rat terrier named Otis who looooooves running with me and I love taking him. The problem is I've tried several types of harnesses for him, but each one rubs the pits of his front legs and irritates his baby soft hairless skin there. Last time it even started bleeding a little : (
Does anyone know where I can find harness designed for running specifically to avoid this problem???

A well fitting step-in won't crowd the underarm area, but any harness under such stress of running may irritate a thin-haired dog, regardless of brand. Proper fit is the key.
I only carry Garadun step-ins for my practice. They are of a softer nylon than other similar brands and irritate less by an order of magnitude as well as being much more adjustable for a proper fit.
