If someone lives their entire life without ever being told of God...?

are they (as arbitrated by the Bible) destined to hell? Just wondering if the Bible says that people who lack the means to either believe or reject his existence are destined to perdition.

apparently the bible mentions that god gives every person a chance to know god. that said, it says nothing about free will, and a person who is taught all their lives a contradictory faith won't switch up readily. as far as i'm concerned, a loving, just god, would condemn no man to hell.

Firstly the concept of a fiery place of eternal torment called 'hell' is not a bible teaching.

The Bible teaches us that 'God is Love'(1John4:16) and "with evil things God cannot be tried"(James 1:13-14).

Those who live their life and die before they have a opportunity to get to know God and decide whether or not they want to worship him will be included in the resurrection recorded by Paul at Acts 24:15

Did Jesus say that everyone must believe in the Bible or go to Hell? No, but your Pastor did. Lets see, I wonder who is right. Simply put, continued life is based on how much of yourself is "true" and willing to labor for the will of truth (God's will). How come we as Christians believe teachings and propaganda designed to take money, separate cultures with fear, over the simple teachings of Jesus.

Just because the Catholic Church said "that everything in this book is literally the word of God" Christ never said that we have any words on Earth that are the literal word of God.

So yes they can, if they understand their place and truth in the universe have continued life. They don't need our books and culture to understand truth.

They are judged based on their good and bad deeds, just as the Bible says.

Jeremiah 17:"I the LORD search the heart and examine the mind, to reward a man according to his conduct, according to what his deeds deserve."

Psalm 62:11One thing God has spoken, two things have I heard: that you, O God, are strong, 12 and that you, O Lord, are loving. Surely you will reward each person according to what he has done.

Proverbs 11:18The wicked man earns deceptive wages,

but he who sows righteousness reaps a sure reward. 19 The truly righteous man attains life, but he who pursues evil goes to his death.

Proverbs 19:17 He who is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward him for what he has done.

Proverbs 24:12 If you say, "But we knew nothing about this," does not he who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not he who guards your life know it? Will he not repay each person according to what he has done?

2 Corinthians 5:10For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.

Revelation 22:12 "Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done.

God does not create people for the purpose of tormenting them eternally in hellfire. In fact, the word we translate as eternal is "aeonion" and similar in the Greek and Septuigint OT. It means for the age, or age during, and is often used of a finite period of time.

God is all powerful: "I know that, all things, thou canst do, and that no purpose can be withholden from thee." (Job 42:2 Rotherham)

God loves all people (and all the world): "For God, so loved, the world, that, his Only Begotten Son, he gave,—that, whosoever believeth on him, might not perish, but have life age-abiding." (John 3:16 Rotherham)

It is God's will that all people should be saved: "This is good, and it pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth." (1 Timothy 2:3-4 HCSB)

Jesus died to save the entire world (see Jn 3:16 above). Did He fail? It is God's will that all should be saved, and He sent His Son to save all people. Nothing God wills to do can be denied Him, therefore God has in hand the salvation of all humankind and indeed, all the world. We don't yet see this manifested, but God is not short on time.

The false barrier we construct for salvation -- that once a person dies it is too late -- is nowhere found in the Bible. It is mere tradition and a lie. God sent His Son to save all the world and all the world is and shall be saved. Even the people who have yet to hear His name.

Who said life is fair? Why don't you go tell those people about God so that your idea of fairness can be satisfied. Why is it always someone else who has to go? People are being killed everyday around the world because they dare to spread the gospel.

People go to hell because they are sinners, NOT because the have not heard the gospel. We thank God that he made a way for us not to go to hell because he cared enough to come to this world and die on the cross for our sins. Thanks be unto Jesus.

God is a fair judge. He has the ability to reveal himself to them, and it says in Romans that we have no excuse for not knowing God. Even if no one tells them about God, He will show them another way. We know he is fair, and will do what is fair.

Actually, the Bible says that if you never come to God and yet you fear God and do what you know you should do, you're saved.

It doesn't mention any locations but heavan, paradise, and hell.

They are judged on what they know, every one knows that some things are just wrong and if they do them anyway they will perish. If they do what they know is right they will live.
