Should I change the name of my Etsy shop?
I would like a little advice about the name of my Etsy shop. Right now the name is CMC Creative Creations. While I really like this name, my user name is MinnieMay9. I'm worried that the two different names might confuse people. I'm starting to wonder if I should call my shop Designs by MinnieMay9 (or something similar).
I know a name change would mean that I would have to redo my logo and business cards, but there are worse things in life we have to do ^.~
With Etsy, your user name is part of the url of your shop. So they will be typing in my user name and then see that the shop name is different.

Your business name has nothing to do with your user name and/or e-mail address. MinnieMay9 may appeal to teens if that is your target market. But it's likely not worth the expense of redoing your website, logos and business cards.

Change your shop name! Your shop name and user name need to be the same, or people won't be able to find you. Pick something that doesn't have a number on the end. It'll be hard to remember! MinnieMayBay is memorable.
