Our President cares about workers?
Our President put on hold a pipeline that would have employed 22,000 people due to "environmental concerns."
Barack Obama also put a moritorium on deep sea drilling which cost a further 25,000 jobs (drillers, services to platforms, etc.) after the BP oil spill due to "environmental concerns."
Isn't this just proof that Obama is more about smoke and mirrors ("environmental concerns") than for the american workers?

The pipeline is being rerouted because of the hell raised by the states it was crossing.So don't blame it on Obama.He's just listening to the voice of the people.That more then i can say about the cons when they were in office.Drilling in the deep water is going gang busters.In fact some of the smaller companies are going belly up because they can't compete with the big boys in the race.He,Obama, stopped it for a short time to make sure we don't have another BP screw-up.Nice try.You need to catch up on the latest news.

Nope, not in the least. Ask yourself why is it that when people ask why there has been no increase in social security payment since Obama took office their answer has been that there hasn't been any increase in the cost of living index. Have you been shopping in a supermarket anytime in the last couple of years?

The company themselves say that they would only employ 6500 temporary workers to build the pipeline. Fox repeatedly reports the 20,000 lie....though they have dropped it down from when Eric Bolling claimed that it would create 1 million jobs.
Further, there have been serious and recent leaks and spills from Keystone....so it's very smart to delay or deny the pipeline...

Don't forget that he also stopped the building of a Boeing factory in South Carolina because it was a right to work state. 4,000 good jobs in South Carolina killed too
